Look, the Miata is a friendly, gregarious car, so as long as your MR2 can restrain itself from lording its mid-engine superiority over the Miata, I think they can definitely get along.

I don’t think that’s possible I’m afraid. The MR2's bitterness over definitely losing the fight despite all that fancy middy goodness. I can’t see it behaving itself
